01 // Mantis — Conflict Merger

STOP FIXING
PROBLEMS YOU
DON'T HAVE.

A folder full of files is not the same thing as a running server. Mantis reads your server.cfg and knows what your server actually starts — so it only shows you what your players can really hit, and names what is overriding what.

Not a mock-up. A real scan of a real server, 2 August 2026 — 23 conflicts on disk, one that could actually happen in game.

What it does
01

Reads what is actually running

A resource commented out of your server.cfg ships nothing, so it cannot conflict with anything. Mantis resolves ensure, start, stop, category folders and exec chains before it accuses a single file.

# ensure old_map_pack ← never loaded
02

Names the cause from a mark in-game

Stand where the thing is wrong — the door that will not open, the wall that is not drawing — and type /mantismark. Mantis takes that spot and tells you which resource is responsible, instead of leaving you to guess which of forty map packs it was.

/mantismark → the door is owned by gabz_pillbox
03

Keeps both, instead of picking a winner

When two resources each add something to the same piece of the world, the usual answer is to delete one of them. Mantis merges the .ymap and the .ybn instead — so the bank heist and the casino can both work, on the same corner, at the same time.

hei_hw1_02_strm_1.ymap ← bank + casino, merged
04

Names what is winning right now

Two resources ship the same file and FiveM keeps whichever loaded last. Mantis reads your load order and tells you which one your players are seeing today — and what changes if you touch it.

now: map-postalmap-streetname → after: qb-hud
05

Builds collision where there is none

Players falling through the map, or a gap with no collision on it at all. Stand in it in-game, shape the plug by eye with the arrow keys, press enter. Mantis builds a real static .ybn to those exact measurements, verifies it round-trip, and refuses to ship anything that fails.

W 2.12 · H 2.90 · T 0.51 → zlab_seal_1.ybn

PLAYERS FALL
THROUGH HERE.

No prop hunting, no Blender, no guessing coordinates from a log. You stand in the gap and shape the fix with your own eyes — and what you shape is exactly what gets built.

  1. 01
    /mantishole

Stand in the gap and mark it. A green box appears at your feet.

  2. 02
    Arrows · Shift · Ctrl

Shape the plug by eye until it fills the hole. Live measurements on screen.

  3. 03
    Enter

Lock it in. The size travels with the mark.

  4. 04
    Import + Seal

The app pre-fills with what you shaped, builds it, verifies it, deploys it.

Mantis is finished and in testing. It is not on sale yet, and there is no date — when it is, the people in the Discord hear first.
